The latest ATP rankings were released on Monday. The best of the Poles, Hubert Hurkacz, did not keep his current position. A new name makes its appearance in the Top 10.

Last week, Hubert Hurkacz reached the semi-finals of the ATP 250 tournament in Stuttgart, but it wasn’t enough to hold on to 14th place. The 26-year-old from Wrocław fell three places on Monday and is currently in 17th position.

The relegation of “Hubi” is due to the fact that he has already been deducted from the points for his triumph in the ATP 500 competition in Halle. The big German event officially starts on Monday, but a week later than last year. That’s why the Pole lost points. However, if he performs well in Halle again, he could be promoted next Monday.

Hurkacz remains the only Pole in the Top 200 of the world rankings. The second of the White-Reds, Kamil Majchrzak, is the 218th rocket on the globe. Daniel Michalski maintained his 272nd position. Kacper Żuk (ATP 275) and Maks Kaśnikowski (ATP 322) saw slight declines. Michalski, Żuk and Kaśnikowski will play this week in the challenger in Poznań (more here).

Serbian Novak Djokovic remains the leader of the ATP ranking. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is second and Russian Daniil Medvedev is third. Frances Tiafoe made her Top 10 debut. The American won the ATP 250 competition in Stuttgart, beating Hurkacz winner Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in the final (more here). Thanks to this, he currently occupies the 10th position. Another barrier was broken by Tallon Griekspoor. The Dutchman won the event in Den Bosch and moved up to 29th place (more here).

There has been a change at the top of the doubles standings. Dutchman Wesley Koolhof and Briton Neal Skupski took first place together in Den Bosch. Thanks to this, they overtook the American Austin Krajick. Jan Zieliński improved his personal best. Following a reshuffle in the lead, the Pole moved up two positions and is now the seventh-largest doubles player in the world.

The major events of the men’s grass court tour will take place this week. Hubert Hurkacz will want to repeat last year’s success in Halle (more here). At the Queen’s Club in London, the stars will be Carlos Alcaraz and Briton Andy Murray, who feels great on the grass, who has won two challengers in recent weeks (more here).
