The great achievement of the former Korona Kielce goalkeeper, Milan Borjan. The 34-year-old, with the Canadian national team, won a ticket to the next World Cup in Qatar.

Last Sunday, the team from the country of the maple leaf sealed their promotion to the World Cup and their victory in the qualifying group, with a 4-0 victory over Jamaica. The Canadians distanced, among others: the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica, thanks to which for the second time in the history of local football, and the first time in 36 years – Mexico 86 ‘, they surrendered in the final tournament of the World Cup.

One of the key qualifying roles, historic for Herdman’s players, was played by former Korona Kielce goalkeeper Milan Borjan, who was the England manager’s first choice. The 34-year-old has registered 10 out of 13 appearances so far.

Canada is one of 20 national teams that have already won promotion to the world championship. This will start on November 21 and end on December 18 and will be played in 5 cities.

The Polish national team will fight for their ticket to Qatar next Tuesday. The white and red team will host the Swedish team at the Silesian stadium. The start of the final barrage of route “B” at 8:45 p.m.
