ULLEVAAL (VG) Martin Ødegaard (24) and his girlfriend Helene Spilling (27) got tattoos this summer.
In recent weeks, observant eyes have been able to see a few words written on Ødegaard’s right arm.
VG’s photos show the words “It’ll probably just be you and me” were tattooed over the summer.
After the match against Jordan, VG Ødegaard asked about the new tattoo.
– I prefer to answer questions about the match, then we can answer these questions later, he replied.
– You don’t want to say anything about what that means?
– No, replied Ødegaard.
Photos from “Skal vi Danse” show that his girlfriend Hélène Spilling has a tattoo in the same place, only on her left arm, apparently with the same font.
Previous photos show that she had no tattoos. VG cannot establish that he says the exact same thing about Spilling’s arm.
VG did not receive a response from Spilling as of Thursday evening.
National team player Sander Berge is a good friend of Ødegaard and he has the following to say about the tattoo:
– I saw it, but I didn’t know it had arrived on the web yet. How nice. It’s cool of him to do something like that, Berge told VG.
When Ødegaard was a guest on TV 2’s B-laget podcast in March, he was asked about tattoos:
– If you had to get a tattoo, what would it be? asked Marius Skjelbæk.
– For grandmother’s health, I think I’ll let it go, replied Ødegaard.
– She doesn’t like it?
– She couldn’t stand it, smiled Ødegaard.
It was in June this year that Spilling and Ødegaard confirmed they were a couple.
Ødegaard started Thursday’s training match against Jordan, where he played for an hour as Norway won 6-0.
