Saturday evening and overnight to Sunday, a fire broke out in an industrial building in Stathelle.
Flames were observed in the roof and construction.
Emergency services were still on site at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
– The firefighters have control, but they are still on the scene. They’ll probably be there for a while, it’s been a huge fire, operations manager Øystein Eikedalen told TV 2 at 9am on Sunday.
The burning building is an industrial building with several businesses, including an Elkjøp store which was due to open on Wednesday.
No one was injured or missing in connection with the fire.
Plant 110 supervisor Arild Reinhartsen told TV 2 that passers-by reported the fire.
There are large amounts of smoke on the site, which also affects traffic. It was initially reported that E18 was to be completely closed, but police reported just before 9 p.m. that E18 would ultimately not be closed.
The road in front of the fire scene is completely closed, i.e. County Road 363.
