The Canoe World Championships have just ended in Duisburg, Germany, where our water sportsmen won 9 medals and qualified in five competitions for next year’s Olympic Games, and7-10 September) at the Malta Regatta Course in Poznan almost 800 slightly younger players will take part in the Olympic Hopes Regatta. The representatives will start in the capital of Wielkopolska 43 countries: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Georgia, Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Canada, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy.
The competition takes place once a year and is aimed at players between the ages of 15 and 17 (2006-2008). Kayakers will take part in the following competitions:

The organizers invite you to a press conference on Canoe Olympic Hopefuls Regattawhich will take place in Wednesday, September 6 at 12:30 p.m. under the stands of the Malta Regatta Track (ul. Wiankowa 3, entrance from ul. Krańcowa). The conference will bring together Deputy Mayor of Poznań and President of the Polish Kayaking Association.
