It was previously expected that the G7 countries would provide long-term security guarantees to Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for such guarantees on the way to NATO membership.

Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Ap) confirms to NTB that Norway supports this G7 statement.
