She wants to focus more on spending time with her family and no longer prioritizes cleanliness in the house, the magazine writes.

– Until now, I have been a professional cleaner. I did my best to keep the house tidy at all times. Now I realize that spending time with my children at home is more important, Kondo said during the webinar.

In the new book, Kondo writes that she sometimes had such hectic days that it caused her to become exhausted and feel a lot of anxiety.

Now she’d rather fill her days with the kids, her husband, and focus less on cleaning, writes The Washington Post.
