– Being able to participate in the reflection and development of local culture and identity is an important role for us as a local newspaper. We want to be a positive force in developing what is happening in Hadeland, says Ramsrud.

In 2020 and 2021 there was great interest and many applications. In 2022, there were slightly fewer.

The publisher hopes for an additional number of applications this year and encourages those previously rejected to apply again.

– These are difficult times for many and we hope this can be an additional positive contribution. No one gets as much out of little as volunteering. Every penny counts. Therefore, it makes sense to participate in this, adds Ramsrud.

The measures supported must include children and young people under the age of 25.
