Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

– I ordered the shooting down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. NORAD shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and American planes were dispatched, and the object was shot down by an American F-22, writes the Prime Minister in a Twitter Saturday message.

NORAD stands for North American Aerospace Defense Command, which is a US-Canadian defense cooperation.

Spoke with Biden

Earlier Saturday, an unidentified flying object was observed high over Canada.

– I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage, writes Trudeau.

It comes the day after the United States shot down another unidentified flying object that was seen over Alaska. US President Joe Biden ordered the shooting.

Third object in a short time

We already know that the balloon that was shot down on Friday was much smaller than the large Chinese balloon that was recently shot down off South Carolina.

What is not known about the object that has now been identified is related to the object that was shot down on Friday or the Chinese balloon.
